INDIA – OMAN: JOURNEY IN TRADE AND DIPLOMACY
Since India’s independence in 1947, relations with Oman have flourished. India’s diplomatic presence in Muscat evolved from a consulate established in 1955 to a full embassy in 1971. Oman reciprocated, opening its embassy in New Delhi in 1972 and a Consulate General in Mumbai in 1976. This book is about the legacy between Oman and India and how these countries have since forged a strong partnership encompassing strategic cooperation, trade and commercial agreements, and vibrant cultural and educational exchanges.
